Little Star Family Day Care offers professional and supervised care for small groups of children in private homes of approved carers.
Our educators are carefully screened and monitored and can provide care in their own homes. Hours of care are flexible with and times are agreed on between the carer and the family. Carers regularly attend professional development training sessions, scheme meetings and are visited monthly to gain extra support from staff.
A main benefit of family day care is that children are cared for in a small group with their own carer. This enables special relationships to develops between carers, children and families.
Other unique features of our family day care scheme is the play and learn (playgroup) sessions which provide carers and children the opportunity to come together in a larger group.
